Health in Ayurveda

Ayurveda defines health as the balance of 3 Doshas namely Vata (Air + Space), Pitta (Water + Fire), Kapha (Water + Earth). Thus disease is a state of disharmony or imbalance of these 3 doshas. Imbalance of these doshas occurs either due to age, food, lifestyle and seasonal changes.

In the modern era women are facing many health concerns. Worldwide the changes in lifestyle and increasing levels of stress are affecting women health. Normal problems are menstrual irregularities, pre & post natal problems particularly depression & difficulty in managing menopause. During pregnancy consumption of medicated ghee strengthens the muscles of uterus as well as ensures the well being of foetus.
